Graffiti

I came across this old building in Rajagiriya. It was the old Radio Electrons and Electro Plastics Ltd. This building has been burnt down or demolished or destroyed or god knows but this building is abandoned.
A popular hangout for drug addicts and hookers what intrigued me was not the sex or the drugs it was the graffiti.
This is not the normal graffiti you see on the road such as "Umi 3D" or "A/L batch of 2004" this is proper graffiti the ones you normally see on TV on some New York Subway.

From seeing their work i would really like to meet the people who did all of this. Especially the person who drew the 2nd one which is my favourite :)

hey, I've seen this... there's another great one on the second floor, just opposite the window, that's visible to cars as they pass by. Sort of like ;looking in on another take on life.

oh and have u noticed that most of the graffiti you find in sri lanka is really unartistic (with the odd exceptions here and there; like in your photo). professional graffiti is bloody amazing.
